I’m assuming the cat was feral. Ginger cats are invariably male for some reason. Imagine having to make that choice but it would seem to be easy for her. As for leaf blowers I have a deep aversion for them. They are a sign of decadence in my mind.

She was indeed feral. There are more and more. I don’t like leaf blowers either, but on a golf course they obviously use them a lot. At home in Switzerland we just blow the terrace to keep it tidy a little (my husband is Swiss! Neat freak!) but the rest of the garden is totally wild.

How sweet! But I also feel bad for the ones that got left behind, and the mama who was too afraid to return.

I know…me too. But we did our best. I tried to talk the gardener out of leaf blowing but the poor boy had to do his job…and thank goodness that other young gardener came along to take them. Nature is hard sometimes. I can never watch those Attenborough documentaries because I get sad about them never being able to help the animals!!
