I spent a few hours at the stables this morning (I pretty much used to live there until I started having issues with my body and had to give up riding), and watched my friend Celine ride my mare Diandra and can’t help but share the phenomenal progress in the passage they’ve made these past few weeks! Dee is now 9, I bought her as a mega green 5 year old with very little oomph (suitable for someone in their late 50s!) and she’s turned into a Ferrari!
I have no idea whether there are any other dressage riders (or ex dressage riders like me) on here, or even just horse people, do get in touch, I’d love to connect. I’m currently writing a book partly set in the equestrian world, more specifically equestrian stunt riding for films, so if anyone out there is knowledgable I’d be thrilled to talk at some point.
I wanted to add music to my video, like I did on Instagram with Terence Trent Darby’s Dance Little Sister, but I don’t think we can do it on here. Or can we?
